A stunning and beautiful one of a kind shawl which is sure to make a statement.  Woven by Emma on a floor loom using a Monk's belt design with plum, pink and cream cotton yarns. 
 
Created using an organic ecru cotton warp and a mix of very fine pink and navy weft threads to give an overall plum colourway.  This shawl is soft and airy and would be perfect for someone who prefers not to have wool against their skin.  
 
This shawl has been woven with skill and care finished with a delicate hemstitiching at each end of the weave.  This shawl would be a beautiful gift for that special person who would appreciate the traditional skills involved in its design and creation.
 
Dimensions:  59cm x 2m with a 12cm fringe at each end so it is a generous size allowing it to be worn both as a scarf and a shawl being wrapped around the shoulders if you wish.
