A striking and stylish houndstooth scarf which has been handwoven using some grey repurposed Rowan wool (derived from an unravelled jumper that was knitted too large to be worn) and a handspun red and blue merino yarn.  This scarf is totally unique being handmade on a rigid heddle loom to create something which would make a rather special gift.
 
Creation:
Woven on a rigid heddle loom using the wool and merino handspun yarn.  A houndtooth pattern has been made which results from the weaving of two warp and two weft rows of each yarn being woven.
 
Dimensions:  22cm wide by 154cm long with a 10cm tassled fringe at each end.
 
Care:
Handwash gently in warm water with minimal agitation.  Dry naturally and press.
