Recognising the importance of comfort this cowl was woven with fine merino lambswool providing a warm and cozy accessory.   A warm luxury scarf which adds a stylish warmth to any outfit and can be worn both inside and out.  Small enough to fit into a bag for additional warmth when the chill sets in.  There are four variations of this snood which vary with respect to the colours of the weft yarns with differences in their sizes.
 
A - Dimensions: 21cm x 75cm - purple and sky blue colouring
B - Dimensions  15cm x 77cm - has been woven with purple and lilac merino with the addition of some merino silk pale pink yarn
C - Dimensions 17cm x 76cm - purple and sky blue colouring
D - Dimensions 16cm x 74cm - purple and teal colouring
 
Creation:  The fabric for this cowl was woven on a floor loom using an 8 shaft deflected doubleweave design using fine 2/17nm merino lambswools in purple, blue and teal shades.  The fabric has a double reversible structure and the longer warp and weft floats causes the pattern to deflect upon washing to create softened edges to the design.
