Handwoven with a colour gradient of blue, grey and pink this shawl is a unique one of a kind beautiful accessory.   Woven by Emma Baker on a Louet floor loom using a Monk's belt design with fine cotton fibres.  This shawl is one of a small collection of cotton Monk's belts design scarves, shawls and snoods.   
 
Throughout the weaving the fine weft yarns have been combined in different colour combinations to create the colour gradients from pink to blue thoughout the garment.  This shawl is soft and airy and would be perfect for someone who prefers not to have wool against their skin and would appreciate the handcrafted artisan made accessory.
 
This shawl has been woven with skill and care with a delicate hemstitiching at each end of the weave.
 
Dimensions:  59cm x 2m with a 8cm fringe at each end making it a generous shawl which can be draped across the shouldes or around the neck.
